Meet Nicole Ruiz
THE ASU STUDENT BEHIND IT ALL
Nicole, a senior studying business entrepreneurship, is passionate about connecting students with entrepreneurial opportunities and setting them up for success. For her honors thesis project, she created Entrepreneurs of ASU after noticing critical gaps in the entrepreneurial community at ASU.
As a prospective entrepreneur sitting in class, many times she didn’t know the person sitting right next to her was a business owner. Nicole is committed to gathering the entrepreneurial community on campus to foster a supportive community that benefits both prospective and established entrepreneurs.
The WHY
THE MAIN GOALS OF THE PROJECT
The compelling question is: How can a supportive community for entrepreneurs contribute to inspiring and empowering prospective entrepreneurs, fostering creativity, collaboration, and resilience in their journey toward establishing successful ventures?
To begin answering that question, we first have to understand the impact of community support to provide actionable advice for individuals seeking to establish successful entrepreneurial ventures.
The vision of Entrepreneurs of ASU is to cultivate an environment where an entrepreneurial mindset thrives, where soft skills intersect with business success, and where community support serves as a cornerstone for individual achievement.
